Erika B. / Registered Hygienist
Erika Kaine Bottalico, R.D.H. joined the team at North Beach Dental Center in February 2017. As a Calvert County native, one of Erika’s greatest joys has been the ability to give back to the people in the community that helped raise her. A Queen Anne School (2003) and Allegany College of Maryland (2008) graduate, Erika credits her educational background in helping to formulate her high standard of care, both professionally and personally. With everyday advances in dentistry, Erika understands the importance of staying current with the latest dental hygiene discoveries, innovations and products that will best suit her patients’ needs and concerns. Over the years, she’s received many compliments on her warm, fun personality combined with her gentle, yet thorough approach when treating patients. One of Erika’s self-described specialties: helping put fearful patients at ease.
When not in the office, Erika enjoys spending time with her friends & family, travelling, visiting local wineries & restaurants, crafting and volunteering at her daughter’s school. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, Maryland Dental Hygienists’ Association, Calvert County Chamber of Commerce and National & Local Realtor® associations. Erika currently resides in Prince Frederick, Maryland with her husband and daughter.
Suzanne J. / Registered Hygienist
Suzanne is a lifelong Marylander and has lived and practiced Dental Hygiene in Calvert County for over 30 years. She joined our practice in June of 2020.
Suzanne graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. Throughout her career she has worked in both general and periodontal dentistry. She is also on a grant for the Developmentally Disable and Handicapped. As Dental Hygiene has evolved over the years so has Suzanne’s passion. She loves getting to know her patients and helping to put them at ease while continuing to provide them with the best individual care.
Outside of work Suzanne enjoys anything health and fitness related but most of all she loves being a grandmother and spending time with her husband Bill and their 2 children’s growing families.
Steve P. / Registered Hygienist
Maria A. / Registered Hygienist
Maria graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. While at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Maria earned induction into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society. In addition, she served on the Admissions Comittee for the Dental Hygiene program. Maria loves having the opportunity to the serve the community where she grew up! She is passionate about providing patients with a comfortable and exceptional experience.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys running, paddle boarding, and boating with friends and family. You can find Maria at both our Churchton and North Beach office.
Sarah S. /Practice Manager
Sarah began working in the dental field in 2012. She completed her dental assisting programs at Anne Arundel Community College where she received both her expanded-functions dental assisting license and radiological technician license. Sarah now serves as the office's Manager. "As the Office Manager and Registered Dental Assistant, I have the opportunity to work with each patient in a very personable way. The patients at North Beach/ Churchton Dental Care are what make my job an exceptional place to work!" Outside of work I love spending time with my four beautiful children Jessie, Jaclyn, Jameson, and Jacie.
Jordan H. / Office Manager
Jordan began working in the dental field in 2011 as a pediatric dental assistant and quickly grew to love how her job could impact and improve patients smiles and their dental health. She joined the team at North Beach and Churchton Dental Care in 2017 after moving to the area for her husband’s job in the military. During her time here she has been dedicated to working with all of our patients and their insurance companies in order to maximize their benefits for all their dental needs. The insurance world can be a complex place and it is her pleasure to help our patients navigate through the vast choices and information that is out there. Our goal at North Beach and Churchton Dental Care is to assist our patients in achieving a healthy and beautiful smile all the while utilizing their benefits to the fullest. “I feel very fortunate to be part of such an exceptional team of dental professionals and I look forwards to working with all of you in the years to come”. Outside of work you’ll find her enjoying time with her husband Trevor and daughters Paige and Sydney.
Jason W. / Financial Coordinator
Jason, who is a Calvert county native, received a BS in business administration from Frostburg State in May 2018. He returned home to Calvert County to further his business career in his home town. He is former college athlete and now enjoys coaching youth soccer and basketball teams in the area.
Marie C. / Patient Care Coordinator
Marie joined our team in July of 2021. Though she is newer to the dental field she has worked locally in the area for 30 years as a hair stylist. She is passionate about helping others and will always greet you with a smiling face.
She has a rambunctious black lab puppy named Roman and enjoys spending time with her family.
Dani D. /Financial Coordinator
Dani joined our team in January of 2022. Though she is newer to the dental field she previously did medical billing and coding for some of Northern Virginia’s top Reconstructive Trauma surgeons. She enjoys navigating and working with insurances to help our patients better understand their benefits. She is passionate about helping others and providing clarity in difficult situations when necessary.
In her spare time she enjoys going to music venues, and spending time with friends, family and her dog Mochi.
Reese W. / Insurance Coordinator
Reese is local to Calvert County graduating from Calvert High School in 2017. In addition to working with our patients and their insurance benefits he is also taking accounting courses.
In his spare time Reese enjoys spending time with his brothers and playing video games. He also coaches with Maryland Elite Soccer. His girls travel team were undefeated in 2021!

Also known around the office as “JZ”.
JZ is a Dental Assistant with 14 years of experience and has her x-ray certification. She strives to make every patient feel comfortable and understanding of good oral hygiene.
She is a long time resident of Calvert County. Where she lives with her husband, son, cat, and love her of her life her dog “Zoey”.
Caren N. / Dental Assistant
I am a longtime Calvert County resident and I came to North Beach Dental Care in July 2021. I have over 30 years of experience as a dental assistant. I received my license in radiology from College of Southern Maryland in La Plata.
Fun Fact: While working as a server and taking classes after high-school, my roommate who was attending dental school encouraged me to try the dental field, 30 plus years later, I still LOVE my job!
Outside of work, I enjoy biking, boating and spending time with my family, and most of all, being a Grandmother to two beautiful Granddaughters.
Brandi S. / Dental Assistant
Brandi is a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant that has been in the dental field a little over 5 years. She loves making patients feel comfortable and helping them understand the importance of maintaining good oral health. She completed her dental assisting course at DATS (dental Assisting Training School) at College of Southern Maryland in 2015 and is continuing her education where she will work towards receiving her Expanded Functions certification. Outside of work, Brandi enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Angel B. / Dental Assistant
Angel is a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with 15 years of experience in surgical implant procedures, endodontics, and dentures. She has lived in many countries and continues to travel often. Angel is also a local photographer for North Beach and Chesapeake Beach and you will occasionally see her images published. She currently resides in Chesapeake Beach with her family.

Rebecca “Bec” M. /Dental Assistant
Bec began working in the dental field in 2018 while living in Florida. She joined our team in the Summer of 2022 shortly after relocating to Maryland. She has experience working with pediatrics, special needs, and treatment under sedation. Her longtime goal is to become a hygienist and to provide compassion for our patients and make sure they feel at ease during their appointment with us.
Outside of work she enjoys exploring new areas with her fiancée, hiking, water activities, and camping. She keeps busy at home with 4 fur babies; 2 cats and 2 dogs and traveling to other states to visit family.
